Анотація

Стаття містить аналіз сучасного стану досліджень, присвячених природі понять гнучкості й адаптивності в архітектурі. Подано стислий огляд теоретичних концепцій і практичних досліджень, проведених закордонними й українськими науковцями. Розкрито сутність понять гнучкості й адаптивності, визначено їхні основні відмінності. Крім того, у статті наведено основні трактування поняття «гнучкість» у контексті архітектури. Запропоновано синтез та узагальнене тлумачення термінів «гнучкість» та «адаптивність» з метою формування чіткого, єдиного розуміння їхньої ролі та значення в сучасному архітектурному дискурсі й практиці.
