Будівництво модульних готелів є частиною нового будівельного напряму, який став набирати оберти в останні декілька десятиліть. Через відносну новизну цього напряму в науковому просторі присутня недостатня кількість наукових досліджень, що розглядають використання модульних технологій. У даній статті розглядаються особливості технології модульного будівництва, загалом, та зокрема – для готельного будівництва; простежені історія та розвиток модульного будівництва, представлено стислий аналіз досліджень науковців, розглянуто досвід застосування модульних технологій при проєктуванні готелю, встановлені основні переваги модульної технології та досліджена роль модульного будівництва у розвитку готельної індустрії.
